Comment on noteThe wine
Imagine yourself in the heart of Tuscany, where the hills roll on endlessly and the vines tell stories a thousand years old. This Chianti Classico DOCG Brolio from Barone Ricasoli is an invitation to that sensory journey, a sip of authenticity and elegance that transports you directly under the Tuscan sun.
I'm taking you to Brolio, in the historic Chianti Classico zone. It is here, on this blessed land, that the Ricasoli family has cultivated the vine for centuries, their estate being one of the oldest in the world still in operation, founded in 1141. The microclimate is ideal, offering the Sangiovese grape the perfect conditions to express itself fully, accompanied by small proportions of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon.
As soon as you pour this wine, its deep ruby red color catches the light, promising a memorable tasting. On the nose, you will discover an intense bouquet of ripe red fruits, such as cherry and plum, interwoven with notes of sweet spices and a light touch of vanilla. On the palate, it reveals a harmonious robustness, its tannins are perfectly integrated, and its finish is long and persistent, a true caress for the palate. The traditional fermentation in steel tanks preserves the purity of the fruit, before aging in French oak barriques which gives it complexity and structure.
This Chianti Classico is the ideal companion for your most flavorful meals. I warmly recommend it with a good bistecca alla fiorentina, a wild boar stew, or aged cheeses. It is the perfect wine for an evening with friends, a romantic dinner, or simply to treat yourself and enjoy a moment of Tuscan escape. Let yourself be seduced by this authentic expression of one of Italy's most prestigious terroirs.
