Comment on noteThe wine
Imagine a light breeze caressing the Tuscan hills, a delicate scent of flowers and ripe fruits. That is exactly what I found in this Lutelia Toscana IGT from Ricasoli, a chardonnay that surprises with its freshness and balance.
This wine is the fruit of an estate whose history merges with that of Tuscany, Ricasoli. It is in the heart of this emblematic region that the Chardonnay grape, the sole component of this wine, flourishes. The vinification is careful: a cryomaceration at 5°C precedes a fermentation in stainless steel tanks at 16°C for 30 days, preserving all the aromatic purity of the fruit.
When you pour this Lutelia, you discover a luminous straw-yellow color, dotted with greenish highlights. On the nose, I first perceive notes of white flowers and pear, then apple and touches of exotic fruits reveal themselves, all complemented by subtle yeast aromas. On the palate, it is lively and harmonious, with a soft texture and lovely sapidity. The acidity perfectly balances the palate, offering a sensation of cleanliness and lightness. After six months in used barrels and three months in the bottle, this wine is ready to charm you with its elegant simplicity.
This Chardonnay is a true culinary chameleon. I particularly recommend it with fish-based dishes, whether grilled or as antipasti, and composed salads. It also pairs very well with fresh vegetables and young cheeses. Serve it cool, but not chilled, in a generous glass to appreciate all its nuances. It is the perfect wine for a sunny lunch or a convivial evening, a moment of pure Tuscan authenticity to share.
