Comment on noteThe wine
Imagine yourself in the heart of Tuscany, where time seems suspended. This wine is an invitation to that journey, a promise of deep flavors and an elegance that never falters. It embodies the spirit of a rich terroir and ancestral know-how.
The Il Borro estate, located in the Valdarno, near Arezzo, is much more than a simple wine property. It is a place steeped in history, where art and viticulture meet to give birth to exceptional wines. This Toscana IGT Rosso is the fruit of a harmonious blend of 50% Merlot, 35% Cabernet Sauvignon and 15% Syrah. These grape varieties, cultivated with care, benefit from an ideal climate and soil conducive to their flourishing, giving the wine its complexity and structure.
At first glance, its deep, intense red color will seduce you. On the nose, you will discover a rich and complex aromatic bouquet: intense notes of ripe red fruits, such as cherry and raspberry, mingle with spicy touches and a subtle hint of vanilla. The latter is the sweet memory of its 18 months in French oak barriques. On the palate, this wine reveals itself robust and velvety. The flavors of fruit and spices are confirmed, enriched by nuances of chocolate and tobacco, evolving towards a long and persistent finish. Fermentation in steel tanks and 22 days of maceration allowed the extraction of all the richness of the grapes, while aging in barrique brought a well-balanced tannic structure.
This Toscana IGT Rosso is the ideal companion for convivial meals and moments of sharing. I particularly recommend it with roasted red meats, game or aged cheeses. Imagine a dinner among friends, a special occasion where you want to offer a memorable tasting experience. This wine will enhance your dishes and create a warm and refined atmosphere. Let yourself be carried away by this symphony of flavors, a true tribute to the Tuscan wine tradition.
