Accords précis (arrosti, carne alla griglia, formaggi stagionati), profil (more, fragole, spezie) et service à 16-17 °C : polyvalent à table.

Comment on noteThe wine
Imagine yourself, in the heart of Tuscany, where the sun caresses the vines with a particular intensity. It is from this generous land that this Toscana Rosso IGT is born, a wine that, from the very first encounter, reveals its assertive character and its vibrant aromatic expression. It is an invitation to explore the unsuspected richness of Maremma.
This wine is the fruit of a meticulous selection of grapes grown on the fertile lands of Pianirossi, an estate nestled in Località Porrona, in the Comune of Cinigiano. It is a region renowned for wines of exceptional quality, where Tuscan winemaking tradition meets innovative vinification techniques. The 2019 vintage is a bold blend of 40% Petit Verdot, 30% Montepulciano and 30% Cabernet Sauvignon, a composition that gives it a strong and memorable personality.
Visually, it presents itself with a robe of intense ruby red, which already anticipates the olfactory richness that distinguishes it. On the nose, this Toscana Rosso IGT reveals a complex bouquet where notes of ripe red fruits, such as blackberry and strawberry, intertwine with spicy and balsamic nuances. On the palate, the structure is robust and well balanced. The acidity and tannins are in perfect harmony, accompanied by a gustatory persistence that leaves sensations of ripe fruit on the palate mingled with touches of chocolate and coffee, giving the wine a pleasantly complex and long finish. Its fermentation at 28°C, its maceration in steel and its malolactic fermentation, followed by 16 months of aging in 500-liter French oak tonneaux, shape this unique expression.
This wine is an ideal partner to accompany robust dishes of Tuscan cuisine. I recommend it with roasts, grilled meats or aged cheeses. It expresses itself best served at a temperature of around 18°C. It is the perfect choice for a convivial evening with friends, an opportunity to share a moment of authenticity and discovery, or simply to treat yourself with a wine that has a story to tell.
