It is in the gentle Sienese hills, the "Colli Senesi", that the Geografico estate draws the quintessence of its Chianti. Here, Sangiovese reigns supreme, cultivated with respect to reveal all its spontaneity. The vinification, carried out in steel tanks, is a deliberate approach to preserve the integrity of the fruit, before aging of at least 24 months, as the Riserva requires.
Its robe, a medium-intensity ruby red, is already a promise. On the nose, I perceive intense and inviting aromas of ripe cherry and woodland fruits, enriched by touches of anise and subtle spicy nuances. On the palate, this wine reveals itself pleasantly sapid and elegant. Notes of raspberry jam mingle with light touches of aromatic herbs, all supported by velvety, ripe tannins that give it a balanced structure. It is an aromatic profile that evokes red fruits, spices and balsamic notes, faithful to its appellation.
