Comment on noteThe wine
Today I invite you to discover a gem that embodies the spirit of Chianti Classico: the Chianti Classico DOCG from the Dievole estate, 2021 vintage. It is an authentic expression of Tuscan tradition, elevated by a resolutely organic viticultural approach.
Nestled in the heart of the fertile hills of Chianti, the Dievole estate cultivates its vines on a terroir renowned for its unique character and ideal climatic conditions. It is here that this red wine is born, made primarily from the region's king grape variety, Sangiovese (90%), complemented by Canaiolo (7%) and Colorino (3%). The estate is committed to organic viticulture, guaranteeing a pure expression of the fruit, without artifice.
For this 2021 vintage, the vinification took place in steel tanks, with maceration on the skins. The wine then benefited from aging of at least 12 months, allowing it to refine its aromas and structure. In your glass, you will discover an intense ruby red color. On the nose, a complex bouquet opens with aromas of red fruits, enhanced by spicy notes and a floral touch. On the palate, this Chianti Classico offers a harmonious structure, with elegant tannins and a beautiful persistence.
This Chianti Classico DOCG from Dievole is an ideal companion for the pleasures of the table. I particularly recommend it with typical dishes of Tuscan cuisine: think red meats, aged cheeses, or charcuterie. It will be perfect to accompany a lovely evening with friends or a more intimate dinner, where you wish to share a wine that tells a story, that of an authentic Tuscany that respects its land.
