Our tip
Tuscan rosé remains a niche production, often made from sangiovese vinified as rosé or from local grape varieties such as ciliegiolo. Less codified than Provence rosés, it comes in very varied styles from one estate to another — some close to light red, others distinctly pale and aromatic.
Each data sheet lists the grape variety or varieties, the vintage and the alcohol content, so you can compare in real time before buying.
