The rock-cut settlement of Vitozza is located in Tuscany, in the province of Grosseto, on the territory of the municipality of Sorano. It is situated near San Quirico, a hamlet of Sorano, about 2 km from the village center. The site occupies a tuff spur above the Lente valley, in the area of the Città del Tufo Archaeological Park. Sorano lies a few kilometers further southwest: Vitozza is therefore not in the town of Sorano itself, but on the San Quirico side. To locate it on a map, search for «Vitozza, San Quirico, Sorano».
