Since the tower of Collelungo, the eye takes in the long sandy beach, the dunes and the Tyrrhenian Sea; inland, you see the pines and the wooded hills of the Uccellina mountains. On clear days, the panorama also stretches towards the Maremma plain and the islands of the Tuscan archipelago. It is a view of coast and nature, not a high point from which you can take in all of Tuscany.
A small practical note: don't necessarily count on going up the tower. The map of the Maremma Park lists it as not visitable; the panorama is enjoyed from its surroundings and the promontory. To get there, the hiking trail A2 "Le Torri" takes about 11,3 km and takes around 3 h 40 ; it is of medium difficulty. The stretch between the low wall of Collelungo and the tower is about 550 m. Bring good shoes and water: there are no services on this isolated section of the park.
