For me, the most beautiful beach in Grosseto is Marina di Alberese, in the Grosseto territory, in the heart of the Maremma Natural Park. There you will find a long sandy beach, dunes and trunks polished by the sea, with the Uccellina mountains as a backdrop. The setting is noticeably wilder than that of the seaside resorts; in return, there are fewer services and you don't come here for the rows of parasols.
From the center of Grosseto, allow about 20 km and a good twenty minutes by car, depending on traffic. In summer, the parking lot near the beach is paid and limited: when it is full, car access may be closed. A seasonal shuttle and a cycle path also allow you to reach the coast; check the schedules before setting off. You then have to walk a few minutes between the service center and the sand. If you prefer a more convenient beach, with more bars and beach establishments, choose instead Marina di Grosseto : less wild, but simpler for a day without any planning.
