Where is the L'Ombra beach in Pescia Romana?

La plage L’Ombra is located in locality Le Gratticciare, at number 15, on the coast of Pescia Romana, in the municipality of Montalto di Castro (province of Viterbo, in Lazio). It is not in Pescia, in Tuscany: Pescia Romana is very close to the regional border, but on the Lazio side. L'Ombra here refers to a beach establishment with direct access to the beach.

To get there, enter “L'Ombra, Località Le Gratticciare 15, Montalto di Castro” into your GPS. By car, you can reach the area from the SS1 Aurelia / E80, then follow the signs to Pescia Romana and the coast. The address is more useful than the beach name alone, as the seafront stretches over several access points. On site, the establishment notably offers a bar and beach services; the facilities and their availability may vary depending on the season. If you plan to come in summer, check the opening conditions before setting off.

The name is enough to cause confusion: the regional border plays hide-and-seek with the landmarks here. It's better to let the GPS play the clever boar and follow the full address.
