Where to eat in Manciano in Tuscany?

In Manciano, for traditional Maremman cuisine, first try Da Paolino, in the historic center, at 41, via Marsala : pici, homemade tortelli and wild boar are among the specialties. Right next door, La Filanda (via Marsala 8) offers more refined Tuscan cuisine; expect about 15 € for pappardelle and 21 € for a tagliata, according to the menu consulted. It's a more expensive option, especially if you order several dishes and wine.

For a simpler meal, look at Il Rifugio, or at the 9, via Trieste, with a terrace and dishes like pappardelle with wild boar ragù or acquacotta. The listed dishes come to around 8 to 15 € ; plan on rather 25 to 35 € per person for two dishes, excluding drinks. TheOsteria l'Orologio, in the old borgo, also serves traditional cuisine, with a few fish options. To accompany the meal, ask for a red wine from the region, for example a Morellino di Scansano. Book on weekends and check the opening days before leaving: the hours may change, especially in the off-season.
