Day 1 — Among vineyards, Etruscan ramparts and hidden treasures

Ciao, it's Tosco! Today, I've unearthed a few wonders of my Maremma for you. I started by slipping into a wine estate. Believe me, smelling the scent of grapes and seeing the vineyards stretch out as far as the eye can see is already a treat! I tasted three iconic wines with a platter of Tuscan specialties, a true immersion in the terroir. A tasting isn't just drinking wine, it's a story you taste, you know!

After that, my little paws took me up the Roselle hill. There, what a shock! The Etruscan cyclopean blocks crushed under the Roman foundations, the almost intact amphitheater... Facing this vastness, silence reigns supreme. Seeing Etruria and Rome meet without pretense is powerful. I even got close to the cyclopean ramparts to better feel the history. It's a very well-preserved lucumony, just 10 km from Grosseto, can you imagine?

And to finish this journey through time, off to the Isidoro Falchi Museum in Vetulonia. What a treasure! Villanovan urns, Orientalizing jewels... it's amazing to see such ancient objects and think that a mysterious civilization was here, before us. This museum truly plunges you into authentic Tuscany, the one the "official" guides don't show you. Quite a day, full of discoveries and flavors!

Day 2 — Among scrubland, sea and centuries-old olive trees

After a dreamy night daydreaming about yesterday's treasures, the sun tickled my whiskers and hop, back in the saddle! Off to the Maremma Park, and this time, not running after the wild boars! I hopped on an electric bike — believe me, even a little wild piglet like me appreciates a boost when it climbs a bit. What a feeling! The sea wind whipped my cheeks, bringing scents of rosemary and pines, a true bath in nature. I sped along the winding paths, olive groves scrolling past like silver waves. The motor was so quiet I could just hear the birds singing and the rustling of leaves, a total immersion in the wildness of the park. That's what Maremma is — you breathe it in with full lungs! After that gulp of fresh air and thrills, I let myself be guided to the Agriturismo Lo Scalandrino. And there, you see, it's the other face of my Maremma: the authentic soul. As soon as I set a paw on the path, I felt that gentle breeze caressing the olive trees, and the birdsong became the only music. It's not just a place to sleep, it's a promise of serenity. Between the countryside and that secret shore I told you about, this rustic building welcomed me with its simple, true charm. Perfect for recharging the batteries after such a day, don't you think?

Enchaîner les pavés étrusques de Roselle et les pistes sauvages du Parc de la Maremme à vélo, c'est le combo idéal pour mériter ton verre de Morellino au Scalandrino !
