The wine

Uvem Bio Tarazona Miriam: the soul of Arezzo in an amphora

Imagine yourself, in the heart of Tuscany, a hidden gem whispering ancient stories. This wine, Uvem, is not just a drink; it is an invitation to a sensory journey, an encounter with the authenticity of a preserved terroir.

The secret of a terroir: Arezzo and the art of the Orci

It is in the Arezzo region, within the Bio Tarazona Miriam estate, that Uvem is born. This wine is the fruit of organic farming, a deep commitment to nature that can be felt in every sip. The traditional grape varieties of Tuscany, Sangiovese, Canaiolo, Ciliegiolo, Trebbiano and Malvasia, unite to create a symphony of flavors. Fermentation takes place in steel tanks, but what makes Uvem so unique is its aging. For 24 months, it rests in orci, those vitrified terracotta amphorae, buried three meters deep, before perfecting its balance during six months in the cellar.

From the very first glance, Uvem captivates you with its ruby red color. On the nose, I perceive an intense and unique bouquet, where cherry delicately blends with violet and wildflowers. This aromatic complexity is also found on the palate, offering a dry and tannic taste, harmoniously fruity and spicy. It is an experience that reveals the depth and richness of its terroir, a pure expression of Tuscany.

Uvem at your table: the perfect pairing

To fully appreciate Uvem, I recommend letting it decant between 10 and 30 minutes before serving. This simple gesture will allow its aromas to fully blossom. It will pair wonderfully well with red meats or aged cheeses, thus revealing all its nuances. Whether for a quiet evening with friends or to accompany your daily meals, Uvem is a discovery that will transport you directly under the Tuscan sun. It is a wine that speaks to you, that tells you the story of a passion and ancestral know-how.

The detail that sets Uvem apart is its 24-month rest in vitrified terracotta orci, buried three meters underground, followed by six months in the cellar. Decant it for 10 to 30 minutes: its notes of cherry and violet will be intriguing.
