Where to park in Grosseto historic center?

To visit the historic center of Grosseto, vise d’abord les places en voirie autour des murailles, notamment piazza Esperanto and piazza De Maria : you will be a few minutes' walk from the streets of the center. Blue-line spaces generally cost €0.60 per hour, with payment on weekdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.. Pour éviter de tourner ou si tu préfères un parking couvert, tu peux essayer celui de piazza Caduti di Nassiriya or the Galleria Oberdan ; allow about €0.70 per hour during the day on weekdays. Always check the rate displayed at the entrance or at the parking meter, as local rules may change.

Watch out for the ZTL : access to the center is controlled, with a checkpoint at Porta Corsica, via Gramsci. Do not blindly follow the GPS in the streets inside the walls; park outside if you do not have authorization.

In Grosseto, I see the last few meters on foot as the start of the visit: the walls immediately set the mood, so there is no need to want to drop the car at the foot of every alley.
