Where to eat cheaply in Manciano or Pitigliano

To eat on a budget, first aim for Pizzeria Osèe Piatti Tipici in Manciano, or a takeaway pizza in Pitigliano: it's generally cheaper than a full meal in a trattoria. In Manciano, Osèe offers pizzas and dishes; expect about €10 to €20 per person, depending on what you order. If you'd rather taste the local meat, the Ristomacelleria La Imperiale is an option, but it's not the cheapest place: plan on rather 20 to 30 € per person for a meal with several courses.

In Pitigliano, for a simple lunch, check out the Forno del Ghetto : focaccia, bakery products and takeaway specialties can cost less than a sit-down meal. To sit down at a table, the Locanda del Pozzo Antico lists first courses at around 8 à 10 € ; with a drink or dessert, the total adds up quickly. Prices and opening hours can change, especially in the off-season: check the menu of the day and the opening times before you go. In short, to keep the budget tight, have a pizza or a single dish, and save the antipasti, dessert and wine for another occasion.
