Where to eat among the olive trees in Capalbio?

To dine under the olive trees at Capalbio, go to the Frantoio, Via Renato Fucini 10, in the historic center. In summer, the restaurant serves in its olive-tree-planted garden; ask for an outdoor table when booking, as the garden is not necessarily offered off-season or in bad weather. The cuisine blends Tuscan meat and fish dishes, with vegetarian and vegan options too.

Plan for a fairly comfortable budget: count on about 70 € per person, to be adjusted according to dishes and wine. It is not a meal in the middle of a large agricultural olive grove, but a restaurant garden in the village, which avoids getting back in the car after dinner. In autumn or winter, check that outdoor service is open; in summer, book and specify that you want to be in the garden. If you are looking for a table in the open countryside instead, Locanda Rossa also owns an olive grove, but dinners "among the olive trees" may depend on particular dates or events: call before counting on it.

The nice bonus is extending the evening in the alleys of Capalbio instead of rushing back on the road — wild boar piglets also like to digest while strolling.
