Account 1 h 30 to 2 h to visit the historic center of Capalbio without rushing: the narrow streets, the ramparts and the main viewpoints are best discovered on foot. The village is small, but it's uphill and the cobblestones slow down the walk a bit. If you want to sit down for lunch or a coffee, plan on half a day. You'll find other sightseeing ideas in my guide to Capalbio, and a few places to eat in my selection of the village restaurants.
If you also want to visit the Giardino dei Tarocchi, add about 1 hour to 1 hour 30 on site, plus travel time: the garden is located about 7 km from the village. In that case, allow at least half a day for both visits, more if you'd like to have a leisurely lunch. Note that the garden is not open all year round and opening hours vary by season: check them before planning your day.
