Where do VIPs go in Capalbio?

À Capalbio, the name most associated with VIPs remains L’Ultima Spiaggia, in Chiarone Marina: historically frequented by journalists, writers and political figures, it keeps that reputation, but that doesn’t mean you’ll run into a celebrity there. For a more exclusive atmosphere, also look at the Circolo La Macchia, in Macchiatonda, and La Mandria, a members-only club. These venues don’t operate the same way or offer the same level of access: do your research and book before going.

The village of Capalbio is about 10 to 12 km from the coast ; allow around 15 minutes by car, depending on the beach and traffic. It’s mainly in summer that the glamorous atmosphere stands out, without resembling a party resort: here, encounters happen rather at the beach, at a restaurant or in private homes. In August, the beach clubs can be full; lounger prices vary depending on the place and the date, so check them when booking.
