Comment on noteOur opinion
Departing from Punta Ala, this sailing yacht lets you set out to sea on your own and shape a day or a getaway as you wish. With its three cabins and six berths, it suits both an outing with friends and a cruise in a small group, provided you hold the required boating license.
This BENETEAU OCEANIS 35.1, built in 2019, measures 10.45 metres and can accommodate up to eight passengers. It has three cabins and six berths: the capacity on board therefore does not mean that eight people can sleep on the boat. Its power is 30 hp. The rental is without skipper, for sailing handled by the renter holding the necessary license.
On board, the equipment includes in particular an autopilot, a dinghy with its engine, a sun awning, a spray hood and an outdoor shower. To enjoy stopovers and the water, you will also find a paddleboard, masks and snorkels, a boarding ladder and a Seabob. Comfort includes hot water, fans, heating, electric toilets, Wi-Fi and USB sockets. The teak deck and the outdoor speakers complete the listed equipment. The listing shows a rating of 4.75/5, based on five reviews.
Punta Ala opens onto the Maremma coast, with sailing possibilities towards the coves of the shoreline and, depending on the chosen itinerary, towards destinations such as Cala Violina or Talamone. Further offshore, the island of Elba, Giglio and Giannutri can inspire a cruise, while the Argentario and the Maremma park provide other landmarks for exploring this part of Tuscany. These are geographical suggestions, not guaranteed stopovers: distance, weather, duration and sailing conditions determine what is reasonable on the day of departure.
I recommend it to those who hold the required license and want to take the helm of a cruising sailboat, with everything needed to alternate sailing, swimming and breaks at anchor. In summer, it is best to book in advance and prepare a flexible itinerary, checking the conditions before setting off. If you are looking for a self-guided outing from Punta Ala, this Oceanis can be a great base to enjoy the Maremma sea at your own pace.
