Comment on noteOur opinion
From Scarlino, this Lagoon 40 with skipper offers a comfortable way to explore the Tuscan coast, between swims, stops and sailing at the pace of the sea. I would recommend it to a small group that prefers to enjoy the open sea without taking the helm themselves.
Launched in 2020, this catamaran measures 11.73 meters and accommodates up to six passengers. It has three cabins; the listing also mentions three berths. The rental comes with a skipper, and the boat delivers 90 horsepower. The listed rate starts at €1,271 per day, to be verified according to dates and booking conditions.
On board, the equipment favors days outdoors as well as moments of rest: bimini top, spray hood, outdoor cushions, forward sunbathing area, outdoor table, outdoor shower, swim platform and boarding ladder. A dinghy with outboard motor, a paddleboard, masks and snorkels as well as fishing equipment are also indicated. The watermaker, hot water, bedding, Wi-Fi and outdoor speakers complete the list; the autopilot makes navigation easier. The description states that a paddleboard is included and that a second one can be offered as an option. It also mentions a fully equipped kitchen, refrigerators and fans in the rooms.
Departing from Marina di Scarlino, you can consider a trip along the Maremma, with a swimming stop near Cala Violina if the itinerary and conditions allow. Further south, Talamone and the Argentario coast offer other ideas for stops; the islands of Giglio and Giannutri can also inspire a more ambitious sail. The island of Elba and Capraia are also possible horizons, without their visit being guaranteed: distance, weather and available time all matter. The skipper is included in the described package. The listing does not specify an option to rent without a skipper or any license requirements; it is therefore best to confirm the intended itinerary and terms directly before booking.
This boat is best suited for six people who want to share a day or a stay at sea with a professional on board and plenty of space to relax. In summer, I recommend booking early and discussing desired stops early on: this helps build a realistic outing according to the season and the weather.
