Comment on noteOur opinion
Departing from Puntone di Scarlino, this sailboat gives you time to put together a sea escape at your own pace, between the Maremma coast and the Tuscan islands. I recommend it to crews who want to sail independently and hold the required license, with enough room for eight people on board.
Launched in 2015, the Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 469 measures 14.05 meters and welcomes eight passengers in four cabins, with eight berths. Its engine delivers 54 hp. For navigation, the spec sheet lists an autopilot, a GPS, a VHF and a bow thruster. For breaks, there is a sun awning, a spray hood, an outdoor table, cushions, a swim platform and an outdoor shower. The teak deck completes the outdoor living space. Also on board: refrigerator, hot water, electric toilet, Wi-Fi, 220 V and USB outlets, as well as a dinghy motor and a paddle. The listed rate starts at €387 per day; the stated rating is 4.34/5, based on two reviews. These are reference points, to be checked when choosing your dates.
From this Maremma port, Elba Island and Giglio Island are itinerary ideas to consider depending on the weather, the rental duration and sailing conditions. You can also plan a more coastal outing, with stops at Cala Violina or the Talamone area, and look toward the Argentario to build a route suited to your crew. These places do not constitute a guaranteed itinerary: distances, anchorages and available time all matter. The rental is without skipper, self-operated; a boating license is required. You must therefore prepare the route and check the conditions before setting off.
This boat is particularly suitable for a group that wants to share several days at sea without giving up cabins or comfort equipment. In the summer season, I advise you to book early and keep some slack in your schedule: wind and sea conditions can change the planned stages. Compare dates and rental conditions before confirming.
