Comment on noteOur opinion
Departing from Puntone di Scarlino, this cruising sailboat lets you reach the Maremma coast and plan an escape to the Tuscan islands. I recommend it if you hold the required licence and want to sail independently, at your own pace, with six passengers on board.
This 2017 HANSE 415 measures 12.4 metres and offers three cabins, six berths and a capacity of six passengers. Its engine delivers 38 horsepower. For navigation, the listing shows an autopilot, a GPS and a VHF, as well as a battened mainsail and a genoa. On board, you will also find a refrigerator, hot water, a 220 V outlet and USB ports. The sun awning, the spray hood, the outdoor table and the outdoor shower make anchoring breaks easier. A dinghy with an outboard motor, a paddleboard and a swim platform complete the equipment. The rental is without a skipper: you must therefore be able to handle the boat and hold a boating licence.
From Marina di Scarlino, very close to Puntone, the island of Elba is 22 kilometres away: an interesting destination for building an itinerary with stages and stopovers, depending on the weather and the time you have. The island of Giglio can also be included in the programme. For more local sailing, you can follow the Maremma coast and spot coves such as Cala Violina from the sea. The Argentario, Talamone and Giannutri open up other options for a more ambitious cruise; however, these are not stopovers guaranteed by the rental. I advise you to adapt the route to the length of your stay and to the conditions at sea.
This boat will suit above all an independent crew, family or friends, who want to share the manoeuvres and enjoy three cabins. The stated rate starts at €371 per day; the listing shows a rating of 0/5 from a single review, a sample too small to draw any conclusion. In summer, it is best to check the dates and the planned itinerary early enough, then confirm the sailing conditions before booking.
