Upon arriving at Azienda Agricola Maremma Bio, I am immediately struck by the vastness of the countryside. We are in Polverosa, between Albinia and Marsiliana, in the heart of the Maremma of Orbetello. This is not a hotel, but a living farm, where every stone and every plant tells a story. The architecture, understated and rooted in the landscape, blends perfectly into this rural environment, a true immersion in Tuscan agricultural life.
The on-site restaurant is a real gem. You dine "in nature", as they like to say, a simple and informal experience, but deeply flavourful. I loved the self-service format, which gives the impression of a meal shared with family. The free parking is a welcome bonus, allowing you to leave the car behind and let yourself be carried away by the tranquility of the place. This is a cuisine that celebrates the local terroir, a feast for the senses.
