I'll share with you an address a bit off the beaten path, but well worth the trip: Maremma Country Chic Le Ginestre. It's not in Pitigliano itself, but in Sovana, a charming borgo attached to Sorano. What makes it original is that these are renovated former farm casolari, offering independent accommodations.
Here, you won't find a classic hotel, but genuine country houses. Le Ginestre, like Il Gelsomino and Il Poggio, are independent casolari, each about 100 m² and able to accommodate up to six people. Le Ginestre shares a pool, and you'll have free private parking as well as Wi-Fi.
The property is nestled in the Tuscan hills, offering a peaceful setting and a view of the surrounding countryside. There's no restaurant on site, but you're in a region where local gastronomy reigns supreme, so there's no shortage of options nearby.
It's an ideal address if you're looking for an authentic immersion in Maremma, far from the hustle and bustle of the cities.
