If you're looking for an authentic immersion in the heart of the Maremma, I'd like to share this address with you: Corso Libertà 25. It's a holiday apartment located in a medieval palace, right on the main street of Massa Marittima, a charming medieval town.
This accommodation consists of private apartments, each with a secure entrance and an equipped kitchen, including a dishwasher. You will also find air conditioning, heating, satellite TV and Wi-Fi, as well as linens and a private bathroom. It's a comfortable and self-sufficient option for exploring the region, with a good overall standard.
The location is its main asset: you are right in the historic centre of Massa Marittima. This means that shops, restaurants and the town's main monuments are within easy reach. For golf enthusiasts, Punta Ala Golf Club is about 37 km away, and the port of Piombino, for excursions to the islands, is about 45 km away.
I recommend Corso Libertà 25 if you value independence and immersion in the local life of a small Tuscan town. It's ideal for a stay where you want to cook your own meals and live to the rhythm of Massa Marittima, without the usual services of a hotel.
