Comment on noteOur opinion
Departing from Puntone di Scarlino, this 15.2-metre sailing yacht opens the way to a cruise between the Maremma coast and the Tuscan islands. I recommend it if you want to share several days at sea, with space for ten passengers and the freedom to plan your own itinerary.
This DUFOUR 520 GL, built in 2018, can accommodate up to ten passengers and offers ten berths spread across five cabins. Its engine delivers 75 hp. On board, the listed equipment makes both sailing and anchoring breaks easier: GPS, VHF, autopilot, bow thruster and electric windlass. For comfort, you will find in particular a watermaker, hot water, heating, Wi-Fi, an outdoor shower, a spray hood and a bimini top. The teak deck, outdoor table, cushions and swim platform invite you to enjoy stopovers. A dinghy with outboard motor and a paddleboard complete the listed equipment.
From Puntone, you can consider sailing to the island of Elba, listed as 22 km away in the description, or set course for Giglio. Depending on the length of your trip and sea conditions, other ideas take shape: cruise along the coast towards Cala Violina or the Maremma park, or plan a more ambitious cruise towards Giannutri and the Argentario. These destinations are not included stopovers: they are chosen and planned according to your crew, the weather and the time available. The rental is without a skipper and a boat license is required; so you need to be comfortable with independent navigation and itinerary planning.
With five cabins, the boat is suitable for families or groups who want to share life on board without giving up dedicated sleeping spaces. The listed rate starts at €487 per day; the displayed rating is 3.67/5, based on a single review, a benchmark to be considered with caution. For summer dates, I advise you to check availability early and prepare a realistic route before booking. If you have the required license and experience, this sailing yacht can be a great base for exploring the Maremma from the sea.
