The Calidario thermal baths are located in Venturina Terme, in the municipality of Campiglia Marittima, province of Livorno, on the Coast of the Etruscans, in south-west Tuscany. The address is Via di Caldana 6. The site is about 10 km from San Vincenzo and about fifteen kilometres from Piombino: you're near the sea, but the thermal baths are not on the beach.
To get there, the car is convenient; from the Aurelia road, follow the signs for Venturina Terme and then Calidario. If you're travelling by train, the station to aim for is Campiglia Marittima, located about 2 to 3 km from the thermal baths. You'll need to plan for a taxi or check the local buses before you leave: timetables and frequency can vary, and the last stretch isn't necessarily easy to do on foot with your swimming gear. Also remember to check the access conditions and any restrictions if you have a health problem or reduced mobility; the thermal pools are not automatically suitable for everyone.
