When do the pools open in the Maremma?

To swim without any unpleasant surprises, check the exact dates with your accommodation, especially if you come in May or after mid-September: opening may depend on the establishment and the pool is not necessarily heated. Even when it is open, the water can remain cool in spring and at the end of the season. In July and August, you have the best chance of finding the pools open, but also the busiest periods.
