What is the distance between Civitella Paganico and the sea?

From Civitella Marittima, allow about 50 à 52 km as far as the beach of Marina di Grosseto, i.e. around 50 minutes by car outside traffic slowdowns. Civitella Paganico is a municipality made up of several villages, so the distance changes depending on where you are staying: from Paganico, further south, Marina di Grosseto is rather at 40 km environ.

The sea is therefore accessible for a day trip, but you are not in a coastal village: you need to plan for the car, and travel time can increase in summer, especially on weekends. Marina di Grosseto is a practical option for a sandy beach; you can also aim for Castiglione della Pescaia, checking the route from your accommodation, as the kilometres vary depending on the hamlet and the beach chosen. Without a car, the journey by public transport usually requires a change in Grosseto and takes considerably longer; check the timetables on the day of your trip.
