Where is the synagogue of Pitigliano?

The synagogue of Pitigliano is located in the historic center, in the heart of the old Jewish quarter, in a small alley leading off Via Zuccarelli. The address given is Vicolo Marghera, at the corner of Via Zuccarelli, in Pitigliano, in the province of Grosseto. Once in the old town, look for the signs of the Jewish quarter: the synagogue is not on a large square and the entrance can easily go unnoticed if you don't look at the adjacent alleys.

It is part of a complex that also includes an exhibition on Jewish culture and former spaces linked to the life of the community. If you wish to enter, check the opening hours before leaving: for the period of April 1 to October 31, the announced hours are 10 am–1 pm and 2:30 pm–6 pm, closed on Saturday. The stated price is 6 € at full rate and 5 € at a reduced rate. These opening times may change occasionally; it is therefore best to confirm with the association that manages the site, especially in the off-season.
