How can I travel from Manciano to Rome?

Without a car, take the bus 11P from Manciano up to Albinia or Orbetello Scalo, then a regional train to Rome-Termini. The bus journey takes about 45 to 60 minutes, and the train around 1 h 45 à 2 h. So allow at least 3 h 30, often more depending on the wait between the two. There is no direct connection, and the bus runs infrequently: check the schedules for the day carefully, especially on Sundays and public holidays, before choosing your train. The total could cost around 20 à 40 €, depending on the train ticket and current fares. Schedules and access to the village are detailed on the page for Manciano.

By car, the route is about 142 km and takes around 2 hours without traffic, mainly via the Maremma roads then the coastal route. This is the most flexible option, but allow extra time as you approach Rome and check the traffic rules for your destination: the historic centre is subject to restrictions. If you plan to leave early or travel on a day when buses are scarce, sleeping near the station or arranging a taxi to Albinia can help you avoid missing the connection.
