The simplest way is to get to Saturnia by car : les Cascate del Mulino and the thermal park are in the countryside, about 60 km from Grosseto. From the north, go through Grosseto, then Scansano and Montemerano; from Rome, take the Aurelia to Montalto di Castro, then head towards Manciano and Saturnia. For the natural waterfalls, park in the designated parking area nearby and finish on foot; check the signs on site, as parking rules and fees may vary.
Without a car, it's doable, but less convenient: there is no train station in Saturnia. You can take the train to Grosseto, Albinia or another nearby station, then continue by bus towards the Manciano and Saturnia area, or by taxi. However, trains only stop at 45 to 60 km or so, and buses are infrequent depending on the day and season: check the schedules for the exact date of your trip and have a backup plan. Finally, clearly distinguish the Cascate del Mulino, free-access natural pools, from the Parco Termale, a paid establishment with pools and services.
