Notre conseil
Chianti Classico, the historic heart of the appellation between Florence and Siena, is identifiable by its famous gallo nero (black rooster) on the label. Produced mainly from sangiovese, it ranges from the supple, fruity Chianti Classico «Annata» to the Gran Selezione, the most demanding category, not to mention the age-worthy Riserva. It is one of the richest regions in our catalogue.
Villages like Gaiole, Castellina, Greve or Radda in Chianti each give a slightly different style — our selection lets you compare estates and cuvées directly with vintage and price.
