Where is the Palazzo del Vecchio Tribunale in Grosseto?

The Palazzo del Vecchio Tribunale is located at 3, piazza Baccarini, in the historic center of Grosseto, on the south side of the square. If you are already near piazza Dante and the cathedral, you can reach it on foot in a few minutes by walking through the streets of the center.

You will recognize it notably because it now houses the Museo Archeologico e d’Arte della Maremma as well as the Museo d’Arte Sacra of the diocese. The name can be confusing: it is no longer the courthouse in operation, but the old courthouse, repurposed as a museum after the judicial services were transferred. To locate it on a map or ask for directions, look for «Museo Archeologico e d’Arte della Maremma» or the address Piazza Baccarini 3, Grosseto ; the palace and the museum share the same address. The square is also close to via Vinzaglio, which can help you if you arrive from that side of the old town.
