Where is the Uccellina park located?

The Uccellina park is located in the south of the Tuscany, in the province of Grosseto. Its official name is Parco Regionale della Maremma : it stretches along the coast, from Principina a Mare to the promontory of Talamone, around the Uccellina mountains and the mouth of the Ombrone.

For most visits, the starting point is Alberese, a hamlet located about 15 km south of Grosseto. The park's visitor center is located there; from the coastal highway SS1 Aurelia, follow the signs for Rispescia and Alberese, then continue a few kilometers to the village. There is also a visitor center in Talamone, at the southern end of the park.
