On the Strada Panoramica, park only in a clearly authorized spot or a small marked pull-off: there is no large continuous parking area along the road, and the traffic lane or shoulder are not parking spaces. On-site signage and markings take precedence; a car parked at the edge of the road can cause obstruction and be ticketed. For Cala Grande, the pedestrian access is located around km 3.95 of the SP 65; for Cala del Gesso, allow about 5.9 km from Porto Santo Stefano, then access is via Via dei Pionieri. In both cases, nearby spots are limited and there is no large public parking right at the start of the trails: do not park in front of an entrance, on a white line, or on private property. For Torre di Capo d'Uomo, there is a small space near the pass, but it is not developed and may be full. In summer, especially on weekends, arrive early: if the authorized spots are taken, it is better to drive back rather than leave the car on the roadway.
