Where does the excavation in Italy take place?

If you're talking about an archaeological excavation in Maremma, the most likely location is the site of Roselle, about 10 km from Grosseto, dans le sud de la Toscane.

In the region, the main archaeological parks are Roselle, Vetulonia and Cosa.

If you were thinking of a specific excavation, give me its name, or the context where you saw this mention, and I can locate the place for you without guessing.

"Excavation" has a bit of a treasure hunt feel... but to find the right dig, the title or the context where you saw the word will be your best clue.
