How long does the Vie Cave trail take?

There is no single Vie Cave trail: around Pitiglianothe loop that passes through several paths carved into the tuff is about 10 km and takes around 3 hours of walking. Plan for 3 to 4 hours if you want to stop, take photos or visit at a leisurely pace.

If you are talking about the crossing between Pitigliano and Sovana, allow about 10 km and 4 hours on foot. So it is not the same outing as a loop starting and ending in Pitigliano; check your route carefully before setting off, especially if you need to return to your starting point.
