Yes: access to the Cascate del Mulino, the natural pools below Saturnia, is free. You can swim there without a ticket. Be careful not to confuse them with the paid thermal park of Terme di Saturnia, which offers landscaped pools and services such as lockers and a sauna. The temporary facilities near the old mill, when they are in place, may also charge for certain services or equipment.
On site, expect more of a rustic visit: the pools are natural, with no lifeguard or changing rooms, and the travertine floor can be very slippery. Water shoes with good grip can help. The water is generally around 35 to 37 °C in the waterfalls. If you have a health problem or a contraindication to hot baths, it is better to ask a healthcare professional for advice before bathing. Parking is nearby, but check on site whether it is paid; the free entry applies to the waterfalls, not necessarily all the surrounding services.
