How to get to the Fiora Gorges from Rome?

To get to the Gole del Fiora in Vulci from Rome, the simplest way is by car: allow about 120 km and 1 h 45 to 2 h, depending on traffic. Take theA12 in the direction of Civitavecchia, then theAurelia (SS1) towards Montalto di Castro; then follow the signs for Vulci and the Castello dell’Abbadia, in Canino. You can park in the large free parking lot in front of the castle. The Ponte del Diavolo, which overlooks the gorges, is right next to it; trails then allow you to explore the site.

Without a car, the trip is much less convenient.

The Ponte del Diavolo has that little "stop, let's lift our muzzle and look" quality: in Vulci, the landscape deserves better than a rushed photo.
