Yes, the Cascate del Mulino, also called the Gorello waterfalls, are free: you can access the natural pools and swim in them without buying a ticket. They are located near Saturnia, , in the municipality of Manciano, and the natural site is accessible at any time.
Be careful not to confuse them with the Parco Termale di Terme di Saturnia, , the nearby thermal establishment, which is paid and offers equipped pools and services. At the waterfalls, still plan a budget for possible extra fees: parking is separate from access to the pools and its organization may vary. The municipal parking area has notably experienced seasonal closure periods, so check the signs on site rather than counting on a free spot right next door.
To limit expenses, bring your towel and something to drink, and wear water shoes: the rocks can be slippery. In short, swimming in the natural pools costs nothing, but parking or nearby services may add an expense.
