The verdict
La Querce and Animrus neck and neck
8,1 versus 7,8: the gap is too small to separate them on the overall rating. The choice comes down to the criteria that matter to you, below.
Choose Animrus if…
- a building over 500 years old carefully restored, with equipped kitchen, garden and mountain views, 5 minutes on foot from the center
Its weak point in this head-to-head: rapport qualité/prix (7,2). At 121 € per night, the offer includes breakfast, parking, wifi, equipped kitchen and garden: consistent, with no service clearly above the price.
Choose B&B Locanda Toscanini if…
- a small guesthouse with nine rooms in Le Piazze, with restaurant, Wi-Fi and free parking, close to Cetona and the thermal baths of San Casciano dei Bagni
Its weak point in this head-to-head: confort & équipements (7,2). On-site restaurant, free Wi-Fi, free public parking and bar/lounge are mentioned, but neither air conditioning nor breakfast is specified.
Choose La Querce if…
- you prioritise rapport qualité/prix (7,8 vs 7,2) : At €70 per night, the offer includes breakfast, restaurant, spa, wifi and air conditioning, with discounts for Fonteverde: amenities above the listed price.
- you prioritise emplacement (8,1 vs 7,8) : At the entrance to the old village of San Casciano dei Bagni, 1 km from Fonteverde; Chiusi and Città della Pieve 15-20 min away, Montepulciano and Cortona 30-40 min.
- your budget matters: from €70 / night, the lowest price in the head-to-head
- you trust travellers: 9,6/10 from 127 reviews, the best rating in the head-to-head
Its weak point in this head-to-head: confort & équipements (7,6). Nine Junior Suites with sitting area, minibar, wifi and air conditioning, self-sufficient; breakfast, restaurant and spa mentioned. Pool and parking not specified.
Choose Villa with heated pool in Toscana if…
- you prioritise confort & équipements (8,3 vs 7,8) : 150 m² villa for 5 people with heated saltwater pool, jacuzzi, spa, air conditioning, heating and children's beds: complete equipment, well described.
- you care about piscine et animaux acceptés: amenities that only this listing mentions
Its weak point in this head-to-head: rapport qualité/prix (5,8). No price is indicated: impossible to judge what the traveler gets for their money, despite the many amenities.
