If you're looking for a little authentic spot, Locanda Toscanini is an address worth knowing. This B&B with only nine rooms is nestled in the heart of the rural village of Le Piazze, a little gem near Cetona, far from the hustle and bustle.
This establishment is a small guesthouse full of character, carefully restored. You'll find an on-site restaurant, which is always convenient, and Wi-Fi is free. For your car, no worries, free public parking is available right next door. It's the kind of place where you quickly feel at ease, with a bar/lounge to relax in after a day of exploring.
The location is ideal if you want to explore the region. San Casciano dei Bagni and its thermal baths are about ten minutes away by car, perfect for a wellness getaway. The medieval village of Cetona is also very close, offering lovely walks and an immersion in local history.
I recommend this address if you prefer intimate places and love the atmosphere of small Tuscan villages. It's perfect for a quiet stay, between 100 and 200 € per night, with the option of dining on site and enjoying the surroundings without breaking the bank.
