Comment on noteThe wine
Imagine yourself in the heart of Tuscany, where the sun caresses the hills and every sip tells a story. Frescobaldi's Chianti Classico DOCG, from the Tenuta Perano estate, is much more than a wine; it is an invitation to a sensory journey, an authentic expression of an exceptional terroir.
It is in the heart of the Chianti Classico appellation, in this emblematic region of Tuscany, that the Tenuta Perano gives birth to this wine. The Frescobaldi estate, whose history is intimately linked to that of Tuscan viticulture, grows Sangiovese there, the region's flagship grape variety. For this 2023 vintage, fermentation takes place in steel tanks, with skin maceration that extracts all the aromatic richness of the grapes.
When you pour this Chianti Classico, you discover a deep red color, a promise of depth. On the nose, I immediately perceive aromas of ripe red fruits, notably cherry, mingled with delicate floral notes and subtle spicy touches. On the palate, the tannins are elegant and velvety, offering beautiful structure without ever masking the freshness. This wine has benefited from aging of at least 12 months, which gives it remarkable complexity and depth, while maintaining its balance.
This Chianti Classico is a true gastronomic chameleon. I warmly recommend it with traditional Tuscan dishes, such as a succulent bistecca alla fiorentina, roasted red meats or aged cheeses. It will enhance these flavors with its structure and aromas. It is the perfect wine for an evening with friends, a romantic dinner, or simply to treat yourself and extend a little of the Tuscan spirit at home. Let yourself be carried away by its authenticity and finesse.
