What are the absolute must-sees and must-dos in Pozzarello in Tuscany?

À Pozzarello, the program is mainly about the sea: take a swim in the bay, then walk to the nearby small beaches of La Bionda and La Cantoniera. Pozzarello is a coastal hamlet, not a village with a historic center to visit. Its beach mixes sand and pebbles, with free sections and a beach establishment; the bay is generally sheltered and the water often calm. Access is from the road, with passages and ramps. In summer, however, expect crowds and anchored boats: this is not an isolated cove.

To change beaches, follow on foot the old railway line and its tunnels towards La Bionda ; allow about 200 meters after the tunnels, but check the path on site and wear shoes with good grip, as the beaches are pebbly. The Fori cycling and pedestrian path also connects Pozzarello to Porto Santo Stefano : handy for going out to dinner or strolling around the harbor without taking the car back out. You can catch a glimpse of the Forte del Pozzarello during a walk in the hills, but don't necessarily plan on an interior visit: the fort is under restoration and access may be limited. For a simple day trip, plan a few hours of swimming and a stroll; spring and early autumn are quieter than July-August.

My little verdict: Pozzarello is the pause button of the Argentario, not the stop where you rush around after ten monuments. Keep some slack in your day: here, the best program is often the one you haven't scheduled.
