From the center of Sovana, walk to the SP22 in the direction of San Martino sul Fiora, then follow the signs to the necropolis and the Parco Archeologico Città del Tufo. Allow about 1 km, i.e. 15 to 20 minutes of walking, to reach the entrance to the archaeological area; the Via Cava del Cavone is in the first sector. By car, take the same road: there is a parking lot near the entrance to the necropolis, then you must continue on foot. Once there, follow the signs of the first sector towards the Cavone.
