How does the ancient Thermarium tour work?

The Thermarium circuit is accessed by reservation, in the wellness area of the Calidario, in Venturina Terme : you move freely between sauna, Turkish bath, pool with hydromassages, aromatic and sensory showers, then a relaxation area with herbal teas. It is not a medical treatment nor a circuit where you must follow a set order. Entry also includes access to the Natural Spring, the outdoor thermal pool, during the same time slot.

Allow up to 4 hours on site for the access indicated by the establishment, and book in advance: the last entry is announced at 4 pm. The price varies depending on the day and the package; expect around 50 to 80 €, to be confirmed when booking. Access is reserved for adults and young people from 14 years old accompanied by a responsible adult.

For health, the important point is that the Thermarium is prohibited to people with cardiovascular disorders. Sauna, Turkish bath and hot-cold alternation put strain on the body; if you have a health problem, if you are pregnant or if you are unsure, ask a doctor for advice before going. On site, keep sessions short, stay hydrated and leave if you feel unwell: this is not a circuit to do at all costs.
