For comparable amenities, expect about 80 to 160 € per night for two in Maremma and rather 100 to 180 € in Chianti : Chianti is often a bit more expensive, but that's not an absolute rule. These are orders of magnitude, not guaranteed rates; several Maremma agriturismi list prices around 80 € or more, while the offers found in Chianti start at around 100 to 120 €.
In Maremma, you can find cheaper options by going for the hinterland rather than the coast. On the other hand, near the beaches, with a pool or in the height of summer, the bill can climb and match that of Chianti: coastal accommodations or those with a spa can exceed 150 to 300 € per night in high season. In Chianti, rates also vary depending on the village, the pool and the type of accommodation; a whole apartment often costs more than a room, in both regions.
To pay less, look especially at May, June or September, compare room and apartment carefully, and check whether breakfast, cleaning and the tourist tax are included. In short: Maremma can be more economical inland; for a seaside stay in July or August, don't assume it will necessarily be cheaper than Chianti.
