Comment on noteOur opinion
From Porto Santo Stefano, the Rivarama 44 lets you set out to sea with a skipper and reach the coves of the Argentario or the neighbouring islands according to the agreed itinerary. On board, you can enjoy space to relax, swim and have lunch facing the coast, without having to take the helm.
This Riva motorboat, built in 2002 and then refitted, is 14 metres long and delivers 1,400 horsepower thanks to two 700-horsepower engines. It accommodates up to 10 passengers. The listing indicates one cabin and two berths: the boat is therefore suitable for a day trip, while a night on board should be planned with this limited capacity in mind. The skipper, for his part, has a separate cabin outside the boat, according to the description.
On deck, you will find sunbathing areas at the bow and stern, a bimini, an outdoor table, a swimming platform and an electric ladder. The teak deck, the outdoor shower and the towels make breaks after swimming easier. For exploring the water, a paddleboard, masks and snorkels as well as diving equipment are advertised. Inside: air conditioning, Wi-Fi, hot water, electric toilet, bedding, television, double refrigerator and coffee maker. The listed rate starts at €2,400 per day; it is best to check what is included in the price.
Setting off from the port, the Argentario offers an indented coastline, with coves and beaches accessible from the sea. Depending on the conditions and the plan set with the skipper, you can consider sailing to the island of Giglio or Giannutri; these are not stops guaranteed by the listing. Further north lie Talamone and the Maremma park, but the itinerary will depend on the time available and the weather. The rental is advertised with skipper. The listing also mentions that a boating licence is required: I advise you to clarify this condition before booking.
I recommend this Rivarama to groups who want to prioritise comfort and enjoy the coast without steering themselves. In high season, it is better to book in advance and ask which stops are realistic for the chosen day.
